About me

Hi there! I'm Nina.

I'm the person behind Nina Kathe Fit.

I have a B.Sc. degree in biomedicine and a M.Sc. degree in virology. In my research, I'm developing and testing novel antibodies for the treatment (and potentially also cure!) of HIV/AIDS.

In my free-time, I like doing sports: I have a black belt in karate and I'm focussing on weight lifting and triathlon at the moment.

As a scientist who loves to workout, it's very frustrating to see so much misinformation and bro science about exercising and nutrition, especially because some of these false claims can actually be harmful to you.

That's why I want to clear things up and present you the latest scientific findings on various exercise- and nutrition-related topics in my blog articles and my YouTube videos. That way, you are equipped with the knowledge to make your own informed and science-based decisions about your training and nutrition.

Nina is a virologist, aspiring bodybuilder and science communicator.
